Actively Follow
The Central Board of Secondary Education defines a curriculum framework that encompasses intellectual growth, physical health, emotional well-being, creativity, cultural understanding, and civic responsibility. It is built around the idea that a school develops students who are well prepared for life across multiple dimensions, not just academically.
NEP 2020, with which CBSE aligns, calls for a shift toward competency-based, experiential, and values-driven education. At Manipal School, these serve as an active framework for how teaching is organised and what the school day includes. The eight initiatives described here are an integral part of how students learn and develop throughout their school years.
The Yuva Tourism Club was established as part of the Ministry of Tourism's Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative for CBSE-affiliated schools. The programme aims to create awareness about India's rich cultural, historical, and geographical heritage while promoting experiential learning and responsible tourism.
Educational Trips

Your child's health and safety are looked after at every level at Manipal School, from a staffed dispensary on campus to trained personnel and clear child protection protocols. Multiple systems work together, so no aspect of student welfare is left unaddressed.
Manipal School has a formal committee made up of the Principal, Vice Principal, Administrator, Counsellor, School Nurse, teaching staff from each school stage, and parent and student representatives. The committee meets regularly to review student and staff welfare, identify concerns, and take action where needed. Twice a year, the school conducts a parent audit to assess how well safety measures are working and to gather feedback directly from families.
